The Hozelock Sunrise/Sunset Sensor Water Timer is a mechanical tap-mounted watering controller designed to automatically shut off water after a preset duration of up to 120 minutes. This battery-free timer operates with a simple twist-dial mechanism, eliminating the need for external power sources while preventing water waste from forgotten sprinklers or filling tasks. Featuring a straightforward egg-timer design, the unit counts down from your selected duration and automatically closes the water supply when the time expires. The mechanical operation ensures reliable performance without the maintenance requirements of electronic alternatives, making it ideal for busy tradespeople and contractors managing irrigation systems or filling operations. Supplied with both 21mm (1/2″ BSP) and 26.5mm (¾” BSP) threaded adaptors, this versatile controller connects to standard UK garden taps and accommodates different applications. It supports high-pressure garden sprinkler systems operating up to 10 bar, as well as low-pressure micro irrigation setups running at 1.5 bar. Additional applications include controlled filling of ponds, water features, or paddling pools where timed water delivery prevents overflow and reduces waste.
