The Gardena Smart Water Control Timer Set is an intelligent irrigation system that automates garden watering using real-time weather data and smart home integration. Designed for homeowners seeking data-driven garden care, this water timer set includes both the smart Water Control unit and smart Gateway for comprehensive automation. The system features an integrated schedule assistant that analyses real-time weather forecasts and references a built-in plant library to determine optimal watering levels for different plants and lawns. When paired with compatible soil moisture sensors like the smart Sensor, the irrigation control system can skip unnecessary watering cycles, helping to prevent over-watering whilst ensuring plants receive appropriate hydration. Compatible with Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home and other smart home platforms, the smart Water Control allows garden irrigation to be controlled remotely via smartphone or smart home hub. The unit incorporates a high-quality valve with Safe Stop technology capable of handling water pressure ranging from 0.5 to 12 bar, ensuring consistent performance across various water supply conditions. The GARDENA smart App monitors weather conditions and sends frost alert notifications when temperatures approach freezing, allowing homeowners to take preventative measures to protect their irrigation equipment from cold weather damage. The included smart Gateway connects GARDENA smart devices to the home internet router via WiFi or LAN cable, enabling access to the full range of smart system functions.
