The Spear and Jackson Predator Second Fix Hand Saw is a fine-cutting hand saw designed for precision carpentry work where a clean, neat finish is essential. With its 10 PPI tooth configuration, this saw is well suited to second fix joinery tasks including cutting planed timber, fitting architraves, trimming skirting boards, and working with interior trim. The hardened and tempered carbon steel blade with hardpoint teeth delivers accurate, splinter-free cuts through finished materials where presentation matters. The rigid blade design minimises whip and vibration during use, helping to maintain cutting accuracy and reduce fatigue. The comfortable handle, moulded from high impact polystyrene with a soft grip, makes extended use more manageable. Built-in 45° and 90° angle guides on the handle provide a practical reference point for common cuts, removing the need for a separate marking tool on site.
