The DeWalt DCMAS5713 is a 54V XR FLEXVOLT cordless brushless split boom power head designed for professional groundcare contractors and landscaping specialists. This versatile unit serves as the foundation for a complete multi-tool system, accepting a range of dedicated attachments including grass trimmers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers and pole saws. Developed as a practical alternative to petrol-powered equipment, the DCMAS5713 eliminates the need to transport and store hazardous fuel whilst reducing noise levels, fumes and maintenance requirements. The brushless motor technology delivers energy-efficient performance, maximising runtime from FLEXVOLT battery packs. This makes the system particularly suitable for noise-sensitive environments such as school grounds, hospital estates and residential properties where traditional petrol equipment may be restricted. The split boom design allows attachments to be quickly swapped between tasks, whilst the compact footprint ensures the complete system can be transported efficiently in smaller vehicles and stored in limited workshop spaces. FLEXVOLT batteries offer additional versatility, automatically switching voltage to work with both 54V XR tools and the broader 18V XR cordless platform, where they provide extended runtime.
