With an ordinary hedge trimmer, you can keep small, easily accessible hedges neat & well tended. If you want to deal with larger or more awkwardly placed hedges, however, you’ve got a problem. Not to worry – it’s in precisely these kinds of situations that Black & Decker’s GTC1843L20 cordless long reach hedge trimmer comes into its own. The trimmer is supplied with an extra long handle fitting, increasing your reach to up to 3.5m, perfect for even the very highest hedges. What’s more, the blade can be pivoted 180° & locked in 5 different positions, meaning that inaccessible surfaces like hedge tops can also be effectively trimmed from ground level. No matter how you use the GTC1843L20, cutting performance is always of the highest standard thanks to the trimmer’s diamond ground, dual action blades, designed to cut stems more cleanly & reduce vibration during operation. Its powerful 18V motor – driven by an included 2Ah Lithium Ion battery – is built for reliable running even under heavy workloads. Additionally, use is kept comfortable by ergonomic non-slip grip points, optimising control for professional looking results. Once you’ve finished, the trimmer can be disassembled for space saving storage.Specifications:Weight – 3.2 kgBattery Voltage – 18 VBattery type – LithiumBattery Capacity – 2 AhInterchangeable Battery – YesTotal Length – 1.98 mBlade length – 43 cmBlade gap – 12 mmBlades – Dual ActionBlade brake –
