The ARS Z-17 Folding Pruning Saw features a straight Turbocut blade engineered for professional horticultural and arboricultural work. This compact folding saw combines precision Japanese blade technology with practical portability for grounds maintenance contractors, landscapers and estate managers. The taper-ground teeth are honed to a knife-edge sharpness, delivering remarkably clean cuts with minimal effort. The unique patented blade design incorporates precision ground teeth with a razor edge, producing a fast, easy pulling action that requires significantly less effort than conventional pruning saws. Hard-chrome plating provides a rust-resistant, wipe-clean surface that maintains performance in demanding outdoor conditions. Constructed from high-carbon steel with curvature ground teeth, this professional-grade saw is ideal for pruning fruit trees, vines and ornamental plants. The 170mm blade length offers an excellent balance between cutting capacity and manoeuvrability, whilst the lightweight 175g design reduces fatigue during extended use. The Forest-Technological Approval Committee by KWF has certified this saw, confirming its suitability for professional forestry and arboricultural applications.
