The Bosch EXPERT S470 Combi Foam Sanding Block is a fine-grade hand sanding block designed for wood and paint surfaces, lasting up to 5x longer than standard Bosch C420 sandpaper. Conventional sanding sheets clog quickly, wear unevenly, and can tear when working around curves, edges, and tight profiles. The S470 addresses these issues directly through Bosch’s Surface Structure technology, which uses advanced bonding and surface coating techniques to firmly fix abrasive grains to the foam backing — minimising grit loss even when sanding sharp corners and irregular shapes. The flexible foam body moulds to the surface being worked, delivering consistent pressure for a more uniform finish. Dust and debris can be knocked or washed off easily, extending the usable life of the block considerably. With one rounded edge and one sharp-angled side, the S470 is equally suited to flat surfaces, contoured profiles, and hard-to-reach recesses — making it a practical choice for carpenters, decorators, and painters working on detailed finishing work.
