The Bosch PKS 55 Circular Saw is a compact 160mm circular saw delivering 1,200W of power, designed for controlled, accurate cutting across a range of sawing applications. Its compact form factor makes it well suited to carpenters, joiners, and general contractors who need a manageable, manoeuvrable tool without sacrificing cutting performance. At 90°, the saw achieves a cutting depth of up to 55mm, dropping to 38mm at 45° for bevel cuts — making it capable across timber framing, sheet material, and general site work. Blade changes are made straightforward by the spindle lock mechanism, and both cutting depth and bevel angle can be adjusted quickly to suit the task at hand. The groove in the aluminium-guarded footplate is designed to accept a guide rail system, supporting straighter, more precise cuts when accuracy is critical.
