The Bosch 13 Piece HSS-R Drill Bit Set is a versatile metal drilling set designed for precise work in iron, steel, non-ferrous metals, grey cast iron, and hard plastics. Manufactured from high speed steel, these twist drill bits offer a long service life with a low risk of breakage, thanks to their excellent elasticity. The set is suitable for use with all power tool brands, whether handheld or in stationary applications. With 13 bits ranging from 1.5mm to 6.5mm in 0.5mm increments, the set covers a broad range of drilling requirements in a single organised case. The inclusion of sizes 3.2mm and 4.8mm makes it particularly practical for common fixings and fastenings used across general trade work. The use of a cutting coolant is recommended during use — Bosch universal cutting oil (2 607 001 409) is a compatible option. Protective eyewear should be worn at all times when using these drill bits.
