The Gardena Smart Sensor Control Water Timer Set is an intelligent automatic irrigation system that uses real-time soil moisture data to deliver precisely the right amount of water to your garden. At the heart of the system is the GARDENA smart Sensor, which measures soil moisture directly at the root zone. This data feeds into the smart Water Control’s schedule assistant, which automatically adjusts watering cycles to match actual plant needs — avoiding both under-watering and overwatering. The set integrates seamlessly with popular smart home platforms including Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home. Once set up via the GARDENA smart App, you can monitor and control your garden irrigation from your smartphone, wherever you are. The smart Water Control features high-quality valve technology with Safe Stop, handling operating pressures between 0.5 and 12 bar for reliable performance across a range of garden setups. The app also monitors weather forecasts and sends frost alert notifications when temperatures drop below zero, helping you protect your equipment before cold weather causes damage. Up to 36 watering cycles per day can be programmed, with individual day selection and durations ranging from 1 minute to 10 hours. The system runs on AA batteries, making installation straightforward without the need for mains wiring.
